Inland Rail’s Ed Walker announced as speaker for Converge 2025

Converge Expo is proud to announce that Ed Walker, Delivery Director for the Beveridge to Albury section of Inland Rail, will join the 2025 speaker lineup.

With a distinguished career at the Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC), Ed has played a pivotal role in delivering some of Australia’s most significant rail infrastructure projects.

His leadership has been instrumental in the successful execution of the North East Rail Line Upgrade, the ARTC Melbourne Airport Rail package, and critical segments of the Inland Rail across Victoria and South Australia.

As a strategic and trusted figure in transport infrastructure, Ed brings invaluable insights into the complexities of large-scale project delivery.

Speaking on the Major Projects Stage, his session will provide Converge attendees with a behind-the-scenes perspective on the engineering, innovation, and collaboration shaping the Inland Rail project – a transformative initiative for Australia’s freight and passenger connectivity.

“This is a rare opportunity to hear directly from one of the country’s foremost infrastructure leaders,” Events General Manager Siobhan Rocks said.

“Ed’s experience and perspective are an essential addition to this year’s program, and we’re thrilled to have him on board.”
